Thursday 9th February - Business and Press Day in Manor - A chance for the media world to have a look at the long anticipated wedding venue and what facilities it has to offer.

Saturday 11th February & Tuesday 14th February– Valentines Dinner. Treat your loved one to a memorable evening at Old Down Manor. £45.00 per person (£90.00 per couple). To include a champagne cocktail, 6 course tasting menu with coffee, flower posy to keep and live entertainment by classical guitarist. Luxury accommodation available at special rates £235.00(Manor)/£165.00 (cottage) for dinner for 2, overnight accommodation including a bottle of bubbly, use of the facilities, early check in and breakfast. Saturday 18th February – Domestic Goddess Day £220.00 per person. 10am – 5pm.  To include canapé making/tasting, the art of cupcake making, make up tutorial, flower arranging and arts and crafts to include greetings cards and placecards.  Lunch and refreshments included throughout the day.

Sunday 19th February - Professional Wedding Guild Wedding Fayre. Free entry from 11am - 3pm.  Showcasing the best in local suppliers from wedding cars to photographers - everything under one roof.  The perfect opportunity to get some great inspiration for your special day.

Saturday 10th March – James Bond Themed Casino Evening.  Marking this years release of the 23rd Bond Movie, we thought we would bring the glitz, action and glamour to you! £75.00 per person or £600.00 for a table of up to 10.  To include full theming, casino/musical entertainment, professional cocktail mixologists, entrance to the exclusive cellar nightclub and 3 course gourmet dinner.  Mr Bond himself may even make an appearance!  Special overnight accommodation rates are available for those of you wishing to make the most of the weekend.

Sunday 18th March – Mothers Day Luncheon £28.95 per adult and £15.95 per child (2-15 years) 3 course lunch with tea/coffee and petit fours.  Set in the beautiful Orangery overlooking the Severn River, Old Down Manor is the perfect venue to treat your mum, price includes a gift for every Mother.

Friday 30th– Sunday 1st April– Wellbeing weekend.  Dietary and nutrition advice, holistic therapies, yoga classes and use of swimming pool and grounds for walking/jogging.  Arrive from 3pm on Friday 30th March.  The perfect weekend of relaxation and detox in the most peaceful of surroundings. April
Sunday 8th April and Monday 9th April  – Easter Luncheon.  £26.95 per adult and £12.00 per child (2-15 years). 3 course lunch with tea/coffee and petit fours.  Set in the beautiful Orangery overlooking the Severn River, Old Down Manor is the perfect venue to celebrate Easter with the family.  Why not take a stroll into the park after lunch where the children can take part in the Easter Egg hunt or colouring competition.
 
Sunday 22nd April– Wedding Fayre. After the success of Old Down Manor’s very first wedding fayre we are pleased to announce another great fayre for prospective brides and grooms showcasing our fabulous ‘preferred suppliers’ and the venue itself.  Free admission and open to all.  Donations welcome for local charity.

Sunday 6th and Monday 7th May –Old Down Flower Show
The very first annual show.  Best in show, young designer of the year, winning school display of the year, gardening demonstrations and workshops, tours of the stunning Manor grounds by head gardener David Banks, plant sales, trade stands, beekeeping displays and bridal/event inspired floristry displays.  All for the price of a standard day ticket £6.50 per adult and £3.50 per child/OAP.  In conjunction with Thornbury in Bloom.  Thornbury Horticultural Society.

June
Monday 4th June & Tuesday 5th June – Celebrate the Queens Diamond Jubilee in style with Cream Teas at Old Down Manor.  £14.95 for a full afternoon tea and £7.95 for a traditional cream tea.  Booking is advisable on 01454 414081. 

Thursday 21st  June -  Old Down Ladies Day and Fashion Show – if you can’t make it to Ascot ladies then come to Old Down Manor! Dress to impress with friends and family, watch the races on the big screen, take a bet, drink pimms and enjoy a summer luncheon in our marquee, finishing with a fashion show in the beautiful Orangery with a chance to purchase items afterwards.  £60.00 per person to include a pimms on arrival, entertainment, 3 course summer luncheon and entrance to fashion show.

Sunday 17th June -  Open air Musical Concert courtesy of Thornbury Musical Theatre Group.  For one day only you can experience a show in the daytime or under the stars by Thornbury’s very own ‘stars of the stage’.  Taking place in the Victorian Walled Garden on the decking area.  Songs from musicals from the last 60 years will sung marking the Queens Jubilee.  Further information on tickets and prices to be announced.

Sunday 24th   June  –Back for its 3rd year running Austin 7 enthusiasts will be showcasing their classic English cars for all Old Down Visitors to see.  Usual park entrance fee applies.  BBQ, Children’s entertainment and outdoor bar.
